Spectrum Designs Medical is a world wide manufacturer and distributor of medical devices for plastic and reconstructive surgery. As an industry regulated by the USFDA and ISO we had specific challenges when we began to research a solution to our inventory control problems. Lot and serial control as well as complete traceability of all materials used in the manufacture of the product were specific requirements. In 2004 we started down this path with a competing product and after six months of wasted resources we realized this solution would never work. Then we found Invetrak ERP.

We have been using all the features of Invetrak ERP since 2005. Once the software was installed and initial training was completed we have been completely satisfied with the product. Your support has always been timely and professional.

The extensive features of the software are a perfect fit for our business. The Lot and serial number traceability feature allows   instantaneous review of where and when the product shipped as well as all of the components used in the manufacture of the device. What use to take hours to trace can now be done in seconds.  

The random access storage capability for raw material and finished goods has allowed us to accurately maximize our storage space while maintaining complete visibility of our inventory.

The labeling and barcode features allow us to track more than a thousand   products   to and from our contract sterilizer. What used to take a day to sort, record and store returned sterilized product can now be accomplished by one person in less than an hour.

Perhaps the greatest improvement has been in Customer Service. Since inventory transactions update in real time,  Customer Service always knows what is available to ship and can process and invoice orders seamlessly with the Quick Books interface.

SpineCraft is a small company that develops, manufactures and distributes Medical Devices in the United States and internationally.

Despite the Company size, SpineCraft has multiple locations and thousands of inventory items that need to be managed efficiently and accurately. Our need was to find a complete and sophisticated Inventory Control System that is not extremely costly but allow us to comply with different regulatory and quality requirements. InveTrak helped us to manage different locations while staying compliant with the FDA and ISO requirements. It also allowed us to address our bar-coding needs and made entering inventory and writing up sales orders very straightforward, which saved us time and, of course, increased our productivity.

Yanmar is a global Japanese company that manufactures and distributes diesel engines for the yachting industry.

Yanmar has its own AS400 based enterprise system that lacks the many inventory control features we need to operate efficiently. With over 2,000 different parts we needed a more sophisticated control system.

In early 2007, we began searching the internet for an inexpensive, user friendly inventory control system. When we came across Invetrak, we were impressed with its simplified features. Although it is capable of doing much more, we chose to use only its inventory and bill of material features.

With the help of InveTrak’s local distributor we purchased all the hardware and software needed and installed the software in May 2007. With some custom programming InveTrak was able to quickly tailor their system to meet our unique business requirements.
Because of its simplicity, training was very easy. Invetrak allows us to receive, locate, and pick inventory, all in "real time".

Since we installed the system, our inventory accuracy has improved to 98%. We no longer have shortages due to not being able to find the stock.

Productivity has also increased due to the increase in accuracy and InveTrak’s pick path features.
